ABOUT THE COMPANY

BFILM was founded in 2010 as a film production company working with fiction and animation films and TV series. Lately we work also as a service production for our partners.

BFILM focuses on remarkable artistic quality and innovative approaches, working with carefully selected talents. Our vision can be summed up as sharing original and new ways of telling local stories to the international audience while helping emerging talents to be discovered and grow. We believe that great films can bridge platform boundaries (a transfer from TV to cinema or from the internet to TV) and be attractive for the audience not only in Slovakia but all over the world.

BFILM is one of the leading companies on the Slovak market with 3 award winning feature films and 10 short films already produced. We work with partners from Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Belgium, France and other European countries, several of our projects were supported by Creative Europe MEDIA or Eurimages. Our films has received several awards and nominations, have been in competition in Cannes, Venice, Berlinale or Sundance, screened in Rotterdam, Karlovy Vary, Annecy, Locarno, Cairo and many other festivals. 

Our company is the member of Association of Independent Producers.
